Nevermind trying to label this fivesome norwegian hardcore-esque act. You might wanna picture five guys growing up listening to Slayer and Pantera or 90's skate punk for that matter.

Turdus Musicus has made several appearances on by:Larm (South by Southwest, Norway), released two much acclaimed full length albums and been widely appraised in Scandinavian press for their notoriously wild and off the hook live shows. Neither broken bones nor torn ACLs seem to slow down the band sometimes fronted by a crutch-bound singer.

Lately, featured in multiple international snow/skate/surf films and recent extensive touring in the States has earned the Norwegian hardcore heroes a solid name amongst their peers stateside in both the metal, hardcore and punk scene. With support of established and up and coming US rock acts including Underminer (feat. Karl Alvarez of Descendents) and recording sessions with Jason Livermore (Rise Against, Descendents) in Blasting Room Studios the band took on US for the first time in 2007. Needless to say, they will return.

In 2008 Turdus will broaden their global horizon, as they are booked to play Beijing Midi Fest and Shanghai Carnival Midi Fest, China's greatest rock festivals.

"Norges beste liveband noensinne" (Monster Magazine) serverer en eksplosiv cocktail av hardcore, punk og metal.

Gav i 2007 ut sin andre fullengder "Rockcollapse" til strålende kritikker. "En av tidenes beste norske rockeskiver?" (Monster).

T.M. la ut på to måneder lang USA-turné. Med support av Karl Alvarez (Descendents) nye band, lot de det amerikanske publikummet ligge igjen svimeslått og undrende, "What the f&% just hit us??". Er det hardcore? Er det punk? Er det metal? De lærde strides.

I mai setter de kursen østover mot Kina der landets to største rockefestivaler. Beijing og Shanghai skal introduseres for begrepet Tromsø Hardcore.

Deretter er det retur USA for ferdigstilling av nyskiva i Blasting Room og ytterligere turnévirksomhet I statene.
